Royce White leaves D-League team, returns to Houston but not Rockets

Looks like the season finale for "Royce White's Sardonic Misadventures in Paradise (or Rio Grande Valley, TX)" is over. White tweeted Thursday that team physicians have advised him to return to Houston. Not the Rockets. Just the city.

So that's how it ends after a season where he refused to report to the D-League, made all sorts of comments, finally reported, and last week said the league "wants him gone."

Hopefully the offseason will bring resolution to his issues with the league and the NBA, and some badly needed maturity.

We're just not very hopeful.
