The Heat announced before their game Sunday against the Bobcats that Dwyane Wade is out with a sore right knee. ESPN reports Wade has been getting treatment on the knee for several days since bruising it last week.
The Heat are going for win No. 26 in a row. It's not like losing Wade means it's likely the Heat will lose to the Bobcats (16-53), but it should be noted the Heat have trailed in their past three games by significant margins before storming back.
Eventually playing with fire is going to get the Heat burned. Whether the Bobcats can be the ones to pull it off is another question. Luckily, shooting guard is Miami's deepest position, with Mike Miller starting and Ray Allen coming off the bench.
We'll let you know if the Heat can withstand the injury to get No. 26.
