Who knew, but apparently being an NBA referee is extremely dangerous.
After Danny Crawford was on the receiving end of an accidental low blow from Carlos Boozer on Saturday, Bill Kennedy was on the unfortunate end of an elbow from the Bucks' Larry Sanders on Monday.
The elbow came on the opening tip of the Bucks-Bobcats game when Kennedy wasn't able to get out of the way in time as Sanders came down from winning the tip. Obviously unintentional, and very unfortunate. Really though, it's surprising this doesn't happen more often.
Kennedy went down for a second, but continued on.
The lesson: NBA officials are tough as nails, evidently.
