With news of Jay-Z looking to divest his shares of the Nets so he can become an NBA agent, we've all waited to hear what the man himself has to say about it.

So, naturally, Jay-Z put out a song about it.

Called Open Letter, the song addresses his decision to sell his stake as well as the reaction to that. It also goes pretty strong at an unnamed person, likely a Nets employee. Via the Brooklyn Game, which has full audio of the song:

"Would've brought the Nets to Brooklyn for free. Except, I made millions off of you f---ing dweeb. I still own the building, I'm still keeping my seats, you buy that bulls---, you better keep your receipts.

Jay-Z owns less than a percent of the Nets but has become an instrumental figurehead of the organization. He recently started a sports management company called "Roc Nation Sports" and has already signed Victor Cruz and Robinson Cano. But league rules state in order for him to represent NBA players, he must sell his share.

This isn't the first time that Jay-Z has rapped about his team, but this is probably the most controversial. In Open Letter, he also blasts his critics about his trip to Cuba, as well as his friendship with President Obama.
