Kevin Durant is taking this "Not Nice" thing a little too far, I guess. And it's hitting him in his wallet now.
The league announced Friday that Durant has been fined $25,000 for making a "menacing gesture" in the Thunder's 116-97 win on Thursday night over the Warriors. In the second quarter, Durant gathered a Russell Westbrook block and took it coast-to-coast for a big dunk. After he finished it, Durant slashed at his throat and then clapped his hands together.
"Kill ‘em and pray for ‘em after the game, " Durant said of the gesture. "It's nothing against the team I'm playing against. Come out with a mind-set and be friends after the game.”
This is the first time that Durant has been fined in his six-year NBA career.
