Bulls' Rip Hamilton suspended one game for flagrant-2 foul

The NBA suspended Bulls G Rip Hamilton for one game on Saturday following league review of Hamilton's flagrant-2 foul vs. the Raptors last week.

Not surprising there. Hamilton just lost his composure. Bulls coach Tom Thibodeau was not pleased with Hamilton's decision-making:

"I hate to see him get thrown out of a game," Thibodeau said after Fridays loss. "I thought there was a lot of grabbing and holding and we got to handle that better. Calls didnt go our way. Were on the road. Were not going to get calls. But sometimes that happens."

Hamilton has averaged 22.1 minutes per game in 48 games this season due to injury and his skills decline. He has seemed frustrated for most of the season. It was a surprise to many when he was not traded at the deadline to get the Bulls under the luxury tax. Hamilton will serve his suspension Sunday, when the Bulls play Miami.
