Following Boston's emotional Game 5 win in New York on Wednesday night, there was a little brouhaha at midcourt that involved Jordan Crawford of the Celtics jawing at a number of Knicks players, including Carmelo Anthony.
Judging by the tape, there was widespread speculation that Crawford had something to say about Anthony's wife, LaLa. This wouldn't be the first time there was talk of a Celtics player saying something about Anthony's wife (cough, Kevin Garnett, cough).
LaLa had a comeback on Thursday, via an Instagram picture that said, "Strong women only intimidate weak men," with a caption of "Try again. You on the bench for a reason."
Relevant: Jordan Crawford got a DNP-CD for Game 5.
Crawford denied on Twitter that he said anything about Anthony's wife.
I would never talk trash about that mans Wife. I don't him........ All I did was respond!!— Jordan Crawford (@jcraw55) May 2, 2013
Then again, Crawford also couldn't "recall" ever playing for the Washington Wizards, so he's not exactly the most credible source here.
