VIDEO: Mario Chalmers hits the ground before he hits the three

By Zach Harper | NBA writer

Miami Heat point guard Mario Chalmers either heals quickly like Wolverine or he was playing a little possum after a foul during Game 5 of the Eastern Conference finals against the Indiana Pacers.

As he went up for a rebound on an errant shot by Dwyane Wade, Chalmers fell hard to the floor and seemed to bounce on his hip. He was in pain and on the ground for a bit, but managed to get up when the Heat secured the ball and Wade brought it down the floor. Chalmers spotted up on the right wing and immediately knocked down a 3-pointer.

He still looked to be in considerable pain as he moved back to defense after the made three, but it wasn't enough to keep him from knocking down the outside shot.
