VIDEO: Tim Duncan nails a halftime buzzer-beater in Game 1

By Royce Young | NBA writer

Just 0.8 seconds left on the clock before halftime of Game 1 of the NBA Finals and coach Gregg Popovich summons Tim Duncan to check into the game. Announcers Mike Breen and Jeff Van Gundy want to know why, thinking the Spurs might run a lob play or something.

"What, are they going to throw it an inch off the floor for a lob?" Van Gundy jokes.

How about a 20-foot fadeaway in Dwyane Wade's face instead? That works, too.

Miami leads 52-49 at the half of Game 1.
