VIDEO: All 16 of the Spurs' 3-pointers in their Game 3 romp

By Zach Harper | NBA writer

The San Antonio Spurs set an NBA Finals record with 16 made 3-pointers in Game 3 against the Miami Heat. Danny Green knocked down 7 of 9 from three, Gary Neal hit 6 of 10 from three, Kawhi Leonard hit both of his attempts from downtown, and Tony Parker knocked down a corner 3-pointer.

The Heat couldn't do anything to stop the deluge of 3-pointers in the Spurs' 113-77 win. Not only did the Spurs take back all of the momentum from the Heat's blowout victory in Game 2, but San Antonio captured that all important Game 3 victory when the NBA Finals are split 1-1. 12 of the 13 teams that have won Game 3 after a 1-1 split since the NBA went to the 2-3-2 format have gone on to win the NBA Finals.

The only team to lose in that situation was the 2011 Miami Heat. The Heat are on all of the bad sides of history in this situation right now.
