Between Mike Dunleavy, J.J. Redick, O.J. Mayo, Kyle Korver and Chase Budinger, there are plenty of shooters on the free-agency market. You can even add in other outside shooters like Kevin Martin (more than just a shooter but a good shooter), Dorell Wright and Marco Belinelli to that list. With so many shooters out there, lots of teams are hoping to add the floor-spacers that have become so necessary to success in today's NBA.

Looks like the Chicago Bulls won't have to worry about missing out on one of the top shooters available. Marc Stein of ESPN.com is reporting that the Bulls and Mike Dunleavy have verbally agreed on a two-year deal worth about $6 million.

Dunleavy averaged 10.5 points, 3.9 rebounds and 1.9 assists in 25.9 minutes last season. He shot 44.2 percent from the field and an impressive 42.8 percent from the 3-point line. He was tied for eighth in the NBA in 3-point percentage with Willie Green. It was a down year from the previous season overall with Dunleavy's numbers with the Milwaukee Bucks, but his 3-point shooting was a career-best in accuracy.

He will most likely be asked to fill the Kyle Korver role that the Chicago Bulls used so brilliantly in the 2011-12 season. Korver shot 43.5 percent from behind the arc that season and was a deadly floor-spacer for Derrick Rose at all times. If Dunleavy can be a similar influence in spacing the floor for Chicago, it could really help Rose as he finally begins his comeback on the court from his ACL tear in the 2012 playoffs.
