Ninth overall pick Trey Burke signed with Utah on Saturday and suited up for the Jazz on Sunday in the Orlando Pro Summer League.

It was a mixed debut. Burke had eight points, seven rebounds and five assists in Utah's 69-59 win over Miami, but he shot 1 for 12 from the field.

"Obviously my shot was not there today, but I feel I'm getting comfortable in the offense," Burke said, via the Orlando Magic's official website.

A 6-foot point guard acquired from Minnesota for Utah's 14th and 21st overall picks, Burke averaged 18.6 points and 6.7 assists as a Michigan sophomore last season and won the Wooden Award.

After Sunday's game, Utah coach Sidney Lowe said Burke has “done a great job of leading his teammates. It's very encouraging to see out of a young guy.”

Utah also signed No. 27 overall pick Rudy Gobert, a 7-1 center from France acquired in a trade with Denver. Gobert averaged 8.3 points, 5.2 rebounds and 1.8 blocks in the French League last season.

Terms of their contracts were not disclosed.
