Chris Paul wasted no time in making it official -- he's back.

Right at midnight eastern time, which is when the league's free agency moratorium was lifted and players were allowed to officially sign, Paul and the Clippers each tweeted pictures of the franchise point guard signing his new contract.

"DONE DEAL!!!" Paul posted on Instagram. "#GodIsSoGood #ClipperNation"

According to Ken Berger of CBSSports.com, that contract he signed is for five years (with an opt-out after year four) for about $107 million.

There was some question as to if Paul -- an unrestricted free agent -- would re-sign with the Clippers, but those concerns were wiped clean when the team made a trade that brought coach Doc Rivers from Boston. That move guaranteed Paul's signature.

The Clippers also added J.J. Redick, Jared Dudley, Darren Collison, Ryan Hollins and Matt Barnes via trade or in free agency this offseason.

Paul, 28, averaged 9.7 assists, 3.7 rebounds and 2.4 steals last season.
