The Eurobasket tournament is one month away, which means we're going to get some teams playing friendly games as a way to get ready for the action in Slovenia from September 4-22. Phoenix Suns point guard Goran Dragic plays for the Slovenian national team who happens to be hosting the Eurobasket games this year. There wasn't much that was friendly about Dragic's demeanor when Slovenia played Turkey in an exhibition game this past weekend.
Goran Dragic drove the lane against Dogus Balbay. There was a foul called early in the play, but Dragic kept driving toward the basket and Balbay kept defending him. Balbay swiped at the ball one too many times for Dragic's liking and after both players landed, Dragic pushed Balbay in the back. Balbay responded with a swipe at Dragic's head and then everybody came together to break it up.
Dragic was ejected from the game (you can see better replays at the 3:10 mark) and Slovenia still went on to win 72-53.
