Miami Heat forward LeBron James vowed to purchase new Nike uniforms for his alma mater St. Vincent-St. Mary High School in Akron, Ohio. James made a name for himself at St. Vincent-St. Mary by becoming one of the most celebrated high school athletes of all time and leading his basketball team to three Ohio state championships in four seasons there. He also played football there and was named all-state as a wide receiver.
He's been pretty philanthropic recently toward his former stomping grounds. After donating $1 million to the school so they could build a new basketball gym, LeBron recently came through on a promise to buy new Nike uniforms for the school's football team and unveiled them on his Instagram account a couple days ago with the following caption:

The uniforms are pretty cool, especially for a high school team. They've gone with an all black motif with accents of green and gold on the numbering and helmet logo. It looks kind of like the Oregon Ducks made jerseys for a relocated team in a Madden video game from a few years ago.
