Bucks owner Kohl: Bud Selig will go down as best MLB commissioner ever

By Matt Moore | NBA writer

MLB commissioner Bud Selig announced on Thursday that he will retire effective January 24th, 2015. Selig is good friends with Milwaukee Bucks owner Herb Kohl, and Kohl issued a statement Thursday:

“Bud Selig is not only the best friend that baseball has ever had, he will go down as the best commissioner the game has ever known. Bud has led Major League Baseball through tremendous change and evolution with the fans at heart. His love of the game and concern especially for markets like Milwaukee will never end even though he has announced his retirement. More than anything, Bud's been and brought a great source of pride to Milwaukee – and I wish my lifelong friend the very best in the future.”

Isn't that sweet?

Herb Kohl might even say that Selig "have it all."
