Eye on Basketball Podcast: Rajon Rondo and bone marrow

By Zach Harper | NBA writer

Matt Moore joins me today to talk about the Boston Celtics and the return of Rajon Rondo. Royce Young discussed the road map to the rebuild of Celtics and Ken Berger talked to Rondo about his future with the Celtics. At what point do you want Rajon Rondo back on the court if you're the Celtics? Will they be better than we think and make his return all that more important? Should we really be that worried about him re-injuring the knee?

An interesting debate popped up on Twitter Wednesday night in which people were discussing whether you'd rather have Jimmy Butler of the Chicago Bulls on your team or Iman Shumpert of the New York Knicks. Do those guys fit their respective teams better than they would fit their team if they swapped places? Is one more versatile than the other? Are they just too similar as players in their roles?

We discuss all of that, plus likelihood of coaches being fired, advanced stats, and the goodness of bone marrow as an appetizer.
