Nuggets expect to be without Lawson, Chandler on Wednesday

The Denver Nuggets could be drastically short-handed on Wednesday night vs. the Sacramento Kings in their season opener.

Lawson has a groin injury and Chandler has been battling a hamstring injury since training camp.

The Nuggets are already low on the wing with Danilo Gallinari still recovering from ACL surgery. This would mean Quincy Miller, Jordan Hamilton, and yes, Anthony Randolph could be getting time at the three. Luckily point guard they have some depth, with Nate Robinson and Andre Miller on roster along with Randy Foye who can play a little point.

Sacramento's a pretty soft opponent to open up with, but this means arguably the Nuggets' three best players could be out Wednesday night. That's going to be pretty tough to overcome on the road.
