Bucks' Brandon Knight leaves opener with strained hamstring

By Royce Young | NBA writer

Brandon Knight's debut for the Bucks was cut short Wednesday night because of a strained hamstring.

The point guard, acquired in an offseason sign-and-trade that sent Brandon Jennings to Detroit, exited in the first quarter and the team announced he would not return.

Knight played only two minutes against the Knicks, and didn't attempt a shot, but pulled in one rebound and turned it over once. Stats!

Knight, 21, averaged 13.3 points and 4.0 assists last season in 75 games.
