There were plenty of times last year in which No. 1 overall pick in the 2012 NBA Draft Anthony Davis didn't demand your attention. The New Orleans Pelicans were still in the process of rebuilding their roster and were trying to figure out how to use Anthony Davis on offense and how to make him an effective weapon that leads the team.
This year, you have very little excuse for not watching his play if you have access to the games. Davis put on a show in the preseason and he's been fantastic in the first week of the regular season. On this play Saturday night against the Charlotte Bobcats, Davis skied for yet another fun alley-oop en route to an eye-popping stat line of 25 points, eight rebounds, six steals, six blocks, and four assists in 37 minutes of action.
Since 1985-86 (as far back as the "Game Finder" on basketball-reference.com goes back), only four players have had at least six blocks and six steals in the same game. Hakeem Olajuwon, David Robinson, and Andrei Kirilenko were the only three to do it before Davis on Saturday.
Watch this guy play basketball; you won't be disappointed.
