Knicks' Tyson Chandler injures leg, X-rays 'inconclusive'

By Royce Young | NBA writer

This doesn't sound good.

In the first quarterTuesday against the Bobcats, Knicks center Tyson Chandler had to leave early with an injured right leg. He was ruled out to return and the team announced X-rays were "inconclusive" and he would undergo further testing on Wednesday.

On the play, Chandler banged knees with Bobcats guard Kemba Walker. He limped of the court awkwardly and needed help to get to the locker room.

Chandler, 31, is averaging 9.0 points and 11.3 rebounds in three games this season.
