Bobcats' Kemba Walker injures shoulder against the Knicks

By Royce Young | NBA writer

The Bobcats' Kemba Walker had to leave Tuesday's game in the third quarter against the Knicks with a shoulder injury.

On the play, Walker appeared to get his left arm sandwiched against Metta World Peace, and immediately pulled up and favored it.

As the Bobcats got back on defense, Walker was in so much pain that he just sat down next to the Bobcats bench as play went on.

He was immediately taken to the team's locker room and underwent X-rays. They were negative and he was able to return back to the bench with a shoulder contusion, per the broadcast.

Walker, 23, is the Bobcats' leading scorer this season at 16.3 points and 4.0 assists.
