Nightly Grades 11.5.13: Bobcats stun the Knicks at MSG

By Royce Young | NBA writer

LeBron James against the Raptors: 35 points, eight rebounds, eight assists, with 65 percent shooting from the field, and the Heat beat the Raptors 104-95.

And he also did this:

AAre the Bobcats... not terrible? The Knicks are struggling, but the Bobcats walked into MSG and pretty much dominated for 48 minutes, closing the Knicks out, 102-97. It looked like everything finally worked as it should for the young Cats. Michael Kidd-Gilchrist's defense was excellent, Kemba Walker was great in the halfcourt, Cody Zeller looked solid and Gerald Henderson scored well.
BThe Nets beat the Jazz 104-88, and did it in pretty convincing style. It was a take-care-of-business kind of outing, but still, it was over the now 0-4 Jazz.
D They lost to the Pacers 99-91, but they were competitive all game long, and dominated the second quarter 27-9. The Pistons are 2-2 and have played solid basketball to start the season, but hanging with one of the East's elite is probably one of the best signs so far this season.
FThe Pelicans fall to 1-3 with a 104-98 loss to the upstart Suns. What happened to the team that looked good in the preseason, going 6-1? From dark horse playoff contender to the lottery? I blame Pierre.

Tyson Chandler went out with a potentially bad leg injury, and they lost at home to the Bobcats, falling to 1-3.

Not a great night at MSG.
