Rockets' James Harden receives flop warning

By Royce Young | NBA writer

James Harden has long been regarded a bit of a flopper, but now, he's officially one.

Harden has been handed a flopping warning by the league after exaggerating contact against the Trail Blazers on Nov. 5.

On the play, Harden was attempting a jumper as Wesley Matthews contested it. Harden threw his head back to signal contact to the face, though Matthews never made contact. Here's video of the play.

Harden joins a list of others already to be hit with a flop warning including John Wall, Kevin Love, Patty Mills, Zaza Pachulia and Corey Brewer.

Harden's next flop will cost him $5,000.
