Derrick Rose suffered what the Bulls are calling a "minor" hamstring injury in the Bulls' 96-81 win over the Cavaliers Monday night.

Twenty-four seconds later, Rose sat on the bench grimacing, having been replaced by Kirk Hinrich and drawing attention from assistant trainer Jeff Tanaka and team physician Brian Cole.

That brought back memories of his dormancy.

Team personnel worked on his right leg while he grimaced, not his surgically-repaired left knee. Coach Tom Thibodeau said Rose would be re-evaluated Tuesday, but the initial prognosis is that Rose suffered a right hamstring injury that is "minor."

Late in the game you could see Bulls officials tending to Rose, but Rose wasn't in visible pain and was instead watching the game and calling out to teammates. Rose shot 8-of-21 but had seven assists and zero turnovers in the 15-point victory.
