LeBron is impressed by college basketball's freshman class

By Royce Young | NBA writer

Tuesday night's showcase double-header in Chicago featured a gaggle of great freshmen basketball players, with Julius Randle of Kentucky, Jabari Parker of Duke and Andrew Wiggins of Kansas being the most prominant.

And so far, this group of youngsters is living up to the hype. Except now, the hype machine just got another boost because the one of the best NBA prospects ever has officially given it his blessing.

After Kansas topped Duke, 94-83, LeBron James tweeted this:

Actually, I'm thinking most of them are glad it's not. Because they haven't had ample opportunity to properly tank to get in position. The Suns are 5-2, the 76ers are 4-3, the Celtics are 4-4 and the Raptors and Magic are both 3-5. Then again, the Jazz (0-8) are probably all for it.

Also, I think we found out why LeBron decided to skip college and go straight to the NBA.

(Note: That is not why LeBron skipped college and went straight to the NBA.)
