Derrick Rose missed the Bulls' Friday night win against the Raptors with a sore hamstring. Turns out, the Bulls didn't need him as they stomped Toronto into oblivion. Saturday night in a major matchup with the Pacers, Rose will be back on the floor with no minutes restriction, though the coaches will be cautious when observing him.
Derrick Rose will play for #Bulls tonight vs IND. No pre-ordained minutes limit, coaches will see how he looks (hamstring).

If Rose struggles again vs. the Pacers, it might do the Bulls well to shut him down for two weeks, and let him recover from the bumps and bruises. He's had major problems to start the season. He's averaging just 15 points on 16 shots and shooting 33 percent with a... wait for it... 6.6 PER. (15.0 is considered average, 20.0 is considered good, 10.0 is considered not great but OK for a role player, 6.6 is considered "maybe you should consider another line of work").
The Bulls have looked better over the past week in blowouts over bad teams. A win vs. the undefeated Indiana Pacers would be a great way to get their confidence back to where it was three weeks ago entering the season.
