Monday results: 2-3 after the Pacers couldn't close out the Blazers on the road. Back-to-back road-and-road games get even the best teams, it seems.
Sunday: 2-3 YTD: 137-108-5
LOCK IT UP
The Raptors are a mess, despite leading their God awful division. The Warriors, even without Andre Iguodala, should be able to get clearance on this one. Their defense has suffered with Iggy out, but it's also still good enough to contain the mid-range jumper parade from Toronto.
DANGER WILL ROBINSON, DANGER
FAVORITE: Celtics (-7.5)
PICK: STAY AWAY
These two teams are both too terrible. If I could tell you to pick them both to lose by 7.5, I would.
Hey, Good Lookin'
The Bobcats are 6-1-1 against the spread as an underdog on the road this year and have quietly been a go-to for me to pick up some spread upsets. They're not on a back to back and eight is way too high for a team like Dallas that can't defend well. You have to like Dallas to win, but I'd take Charlotte, here. Oddsmakers don't seem to have figured out they're decent yet.
I've Got a Bad Feeling About This
GAME: Nuggets at Brooklyn
FAVORITE: Nuggets (-4.5)
PICK: STAY AWAY!
Denver has been on a tear, but this is the second game of a two-week East coast road trip for Denver, and Brooklyn smashed Memphis a few days ago. You can't trust the Nets, but th context screams Brooklyn here. Don't like this one at all.
