Timberwolves' Corey Brewer fined $5,000 for flopping

By Royce Young | NBA writer

Corey Brewer will have to pay the price for flopping.

The league announced Brewer has been fined $5,000 for flopping, his second offense this season.

The flop happened against the Heat on Friday, where he flailed in attempting to guard LeBron James. (Video of the play.)

Brewer was warned earlier in the year for a flop against the Knicks.

A next offense for Brewer is $10,000. He joins an already expanding list of floppers to be tagged by the league this season.

Brewer, 27, is averaging 14.0 points and 2.7 rebounds in 20 games this season.
