Sometimes, ugly games have to be put to bed. That's what the contest between the Washington Wizards and the Atlanta Hawks was; it was an ugly game. Tied 99-99 with 1.8 seconds left in overtime, Pero Antic inbounded the ball for the Hawks and found Al Horford fading toward the weak side block. He threw the lob pass to Horford near the baseline and let his teammate do the rest.
Horford's final two points gave him 34 on the night and his team their 12th win of the season to climb to 12-11. He was a problem all night that the Wizards couldn't resolve, no matter what they threw his way defensively.
