These sleeved NBA jerseys are ruining my Christmas pic.twitter.com/on7A6xqwyw— PJ Browne (@P_J_Browne) December 25, 2013
It's bad enough that the NBA's premier scheduling day (Christmas) features four teams with sub-.500 records, but it's made that much worse by the sleeved jerseys the league is mandating teams wear.
First, LeBron weighed in and was concerned about how the Heat's shooters would fare with sleeves on, which is, of course, a legitimate concern.
But aside from performance issues, the sleeves, most on Twitter agree, look like pajamas.
Dirk spouted off his opinion during the Bulls-Nets game, and then a quick Twitter search revealed a very similar sentiment.
Call me old school but these jerseys with sleeves are awful.....— Dirk Nowitzki (@swish41) December 25, 2013
Dear @NBA, the Christmas uniforms are hideous. Jason Terry's socks are the only thing worse than the sleeves. Please don't do this again.— John (@johndraghi) December 25, 2013
