By Matt Moore | NBA writer

Carmelo Anthony is set to return to the train wreck that is the New York Knicks Thursday as the team travels to San Antonio to take on the Spurs. Anthony missed three games with an ankle injury, but went through shootaround Thursday morning and is good to go.

The return comes as the Knicks set out on a three-game road trip against Western Conference teams after dropping to 9-21. Anthony is averaging 26.3 points and 8.8 rebounds per game this season. The Knicks have lost three in a row, and six of their last ten.
