Sneak peek at the Heat and Nets' nickname jerseys

By Royce Young | NBA writer

The NBA is allowing nicknames on jerseys for a game Jan. 10 between the Nets and Heat. Above, you see jerseys for Norris Cole (Cole Train), LeBron James (King James) and Ray Allen (J. Shuttlesworth).

And here's a look at a few of the Nets:

There's Deron Williams (D-Will), Paul Pierce (Truth) and Andrei Kirilenko (whatever that says). Something I can't help but find interesting, though: Kirilenko's generally accepted nickname is "AK-47." Not hard to see why the league went with something else on that one.
