VIDEO: J.R. Smith unties Shawn Marion's shoe during free throw

By Zach Harper | NBA writer

The New York Knicks pulled out all the stops in earning their 92-80 victory over the Dallas Mavericks on Sunday night. They hit big shots down the stretch, limited the 3-point shooting of the Mavs, and even tried untying their opponents' shoes. With Dirk Nowitzki at the free throw line during the second quarter, J.R. Smith bent down and pulled the shoelaces of Shawn Marion's left shoe.

Marion went down the floor to play defense and after Andrea Bargnani hit a jumper in the middle of the floor, Marion bent down to tie his shoe. This is a veteran move by Smith. The Knicks are 1-0 this season when Smith unties an opponent's shoe.
