Eye on Basketball Podcast: Picking and trolling again

By Zach Harper | NBA writer

The temperature is rising and the internet is back, which means Matt Moore joins me again on the podcast to talk some NBA. First topic of discussion is the meltdown the Minnesota Timberwolves had against the Phoenix Suns Wednesday night and the fallout from it. Should Kevin Love be calling out teammates for poor attitudes when he doesn't deliver? Is there something serious between him and JJ Barea? What is the problem for the Wolves at the end of these close games and can it even out?

The Los Angeles Clippers seem to be on the brink of truly contending but they may not have enough to get over the hump. There was a trade idea of Carmelo Anthony for Blake Griffin. If we expanded that trade idea to DeAndre Jordan with Griffin for Anthony and Tyson Chandler, what's the case for both sides considering such a move? Can the Clippers be patient with their current structure? Would the New York Knicks benefit from starting over?

We discuss all of this, plus the Cleveland Cavaliers' plan, what makes a successful season for the Brooklyn Nets, and preview tonight's games.
