The rash of injuries is not done spreading amongst NBA point guards. After the news that Eric Bledsoe is going to need surgery hitting the NBA on Thursday, another point guard is going to be out indefinitely. New Orleans Pelicans' point guard Jrue Holiday has been diagnosed with a stress fracture in his right tibia.

The team announced Friday that he will be out indefinitely because of the injury:

The New Orleans Pelicans announced today that Jrue Holiday has been diagnosed with a stress fracture in his right tibia. He is out indefinitely.

For reference, JaVale McGee of the Denver Nuggets was diagnosed with a stress fracture in his tibia back on November 10 and hasn't played a second since then. Holiday's injury may not be as bad as what McGee has but stress fractures typically take a long time to heal. You have to be able to trust the bone is healed before you start putting stress back on it.

This is a pretty big blow to the Pelicans' playoff chances if he misses a couple of months because of the injury. Holiday is averaging 14.3 points, 7.9 assists, and 4.2 rebounds on the season. New Orleans is currently 15-19 on the season and four games behind Dallas for the eighth seed.
