Lakers' Nick Young suspended one game for throwing punch

By Royce Young | NBA writer

Lakers guard Nick Young has been suspended one game for throwing a punch while Suns Markieff Morris ($25,000) and Alex Len ($15,000) were fined, the league announced.

The incident happened in the second quarter of Wednesday's game between the Lakers and Suns after Len fouled Young hard on a dunk attempt. Len was assessed a flagrant two and ejected, but Young took exception and threw a punch at Goran Dragic.

Young will miss the Lakers game Friday against the Celtics.
