The Pacers were up just one point vs. the Nets after a furious comeback by Brooklyn. They needed to just inbound the ball with .04 seconds remaining. As soon as it touched a player, the clock would expire. Brooklyn would have to intercept and shoot immediately, a la Derek Fisher to get a shot up for the win.
But funny thing about that rule. It doesn't matter who the ball touches. As Luis Scola demonstrated in a Pacers win.
