Eye on Basketball Podcast: Don't twist my words

By Zach Harper | NBA writer

Ethan Sherwood Strauss joins me on the podcast today to discuss the weird situation with the Golden State Warriors. After not being one of the top 4 teams in the Western Conference thus far, things seem to be getting a little chippy in Oakland. Mark Jackson is making sure the media isn't twisting his words and he's taunted them in a way during a recent press conference. All of this is surrounding an Andrew Bogut injury update that got weird. So what exactly is happening with Jackson, owner Joe Lacob, and the rest of the team?

LeBron James recently said he would be on the Mt. Rushmore of the NBA. Ethan and I go over who would be on our Mt. Rushmore. Can you really boil it down to just four players? Is it something you should take seriously? Do you value Larry Bird or Magic Johnson? Are Michael Jordan and Bill Russell the only locks? How do we get Jason Williams, Robert Pack, and other fun players to be included on our personal Mt. Rushmores?

We discuss all of this, plus Mel Gibson movies, religion in sports, and much more.
