Bucks' Larry Sanders out six weeks with orbital bone fracture

By Royce Young | NBA writer

The Bucks will be without Larry Sanders at least for the next six weeks because of a fractured eye socket, the team announced.

The injury happened early in the Bucks game last Saturday against the Rockets. With about eight minutes left in the first quarter, he caught an inadvertant elbow from James Harden and was forced to exit the game.

Following it, he tweeted this picture:

Sanders, 25, also missed extended time earlier this season because of a torn thumb ligament. He's averaging 7.7 points, 7.2 rebounds and 1.7 blocks in 23 games this season.
