Sixers waive Earl Clark

Hello and goodbye from Philadelphia, Earl Clark.

Part of the deal that sent Spencer Hawes to the Cavaliers, Clark was waived by the 76ers the team announced Friday.

Clark will have 48 hours to clear waivers, and if no team claims him, he'll become an unrestricted free agent.

Clark signed in the offseason with the Cavs for two years, $8.5 million, though the second season wasn't guaranteed.

Clark, 26, averaged 5.2 points and 2.8 rebounds in 45 appearances for the Cavs.
