Veteran guard Jason Terry was traded from the Brooklyn Nets to the Kings at Thursday's deadline in the move that brought Marcus Thornton to Brooklyn. But don't expect Terry to be hoisting shots for the lottery Kings. Sacramento announced Saturday that:

Terry averaged 4.5 points on 36 percent shooting, and hasn't been the same since winning a title in 2011 with the Mavericks. He signed with Boston after the lockout, then was traded in the deal for Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett.

We'll see if Terry can get himself right to put in a productive season next year. Terry has $5.8 million left on his contract for next season. The Kings have not indicated whether they will look to buyout the remainder Terry's contract.
