LeBron James suffered a broken nose on the play above during Thursday night's blowout victory by the Miami Heat over the Oklahoma City Thunder. To give James a chance to heal a bit and get some deserved time off between Thursday's win and this coming Thursday's matchup with the New York Knicks, Heat coach Erik Spoelstra informed the media before Sunday's game against the Chicag Bulls that the Heat star won't play, giving him a week off.

It will be just the second game James has missed this season. He missed a December 28 win on the road against the Portland Trail Blazers due to groing and ankle injuries. The Heat won that game 108-107 behind 37 points from Chris Bosh. The Heat have won the previous five games in which James has sat and are 7-6 without him since he signed with the team in 2010.
James is averaging 30.8 points, 8.6 rebounds, and 7.0 assists in 39.1 minutes during the month of February. The Heat are currently 39-14 and two games behind the Indiana Pacers in the Eastern Conference.
