Danny Granger's comeback from knee and calf injuries hasn't exactly gone to plan. Instead of trying to help the Indiana Pacers overcome the Miami Heat this postseason, Granger was traded at the deadline to the Philadelphia 76ers for Evan Turner and Lavoy Allen. The Sixers then turned around and bought Granger out of his contract, allowing him to sign with any team he wanted after clearing waivers.

It looks like Granger will spend the rest of the season battling it out in the Western Conference. The Los Angeles Clippers announced Friday they've signed Granger for the remainder of the season.

The Los Angeles Clippers announced today that they have signed free agent forward Danny Granger. Per team policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Granger used to be one of the best scorers in the NBA before injuries took away his effectiveness. Over the last two seasons, Granger has played in just 34 games and been a shell of his former self on the court. This year, he participated in 29 games for the Pacers, averaging 8.3 points on 35.9 percent from the field in 22.5 minutes.

He joins a Clippers team that could potentially have a crowded core on the wings. The Clippers are waiting to get J.J. Redick back in the mix, adding him to Matt Barnes, Jared Dudley, Willie Green, Jamal Crawford, and rookie Reggie Bullock.
