The Suns had said last week that Eric Bledsoe could return as early as Monday to face his old team the Clippers in his first game back from a torn meniscus. But the Suns announced Monday that Bledsoe is out for the back-to-back game in LA.

Bledsoe is expected to make his return. Bledsoe sitting out comes in an important game. The Suns slipped behind Memphis by a half-game Sunday for the 8th seed in the West, a loss on the back to back, on the road, puts them a full game behind Memphis which has one of the best records in the league since January 1st.

Bledsoe averaged 18 points and 5.8 assists per game before his injury.
