Andrew Wiggins is going to be a major figure in the game of basketball as a rookie and if everything works out with his projected career path, he's going to make some team and some agency a lot of money. He too will make a lot of money for himself through both his playing contracts and his endorsements. He just needs to find an agency that will maximize his earning potential during his NBA career.

The projected top 3 pick in the 2014 NBA Draft is reportedly choosing between Jay Z's Roc Nation Sports agency and another unknown agency to be his respresentation. From Chris Haynes of the CSNNW.com:

Kansas freshman pheonom Andrew Wiggins announced today that he will declare for the NBA Draft. The 6-8 athletic forward is a potential No. 1 overall draft pick.

According to league sources, Wiggins is in the process of choosing between Hip Hop mogul Jay-Z's Roc Nation Sports and one other unknown agency for player representation. Rich Paul, LeBron James' agent, was rumored to be in the mix but we were informed Paul never recruited the forward.

Roc Nation Sports formed last year and started representing NBA players after Jay Z sold his ownership stake in the Brooklyn Nets. The agency has already signed Kevin Durant of the Oklahoma City Thunder, along with Robinson Cano of the Seattle Mariners, CC Sabathia of the New York Yankees, Geno Smith of the New York Jets, Hakeem Nicks of the Indianapolis Colts, Victor Cruz of the New York Giants, and Skylar Diggins of the Tulsa Shock.

The agency made a huge splash in Major League Baseball free agency by negotiating a 10-year, $240 million contract this past offseason. Wiggins choosing them would mean he trusts Jay Z's clout and ability to market individuals, which wouldn't be some good trust to have.
