The Indiana Pacers got a huge win Sunday over the Oklahoma City Thunder, but it didn't come easy. The Pacers entered the game in a near-tailspin after losing to Miami last Friday. But a loss to the Hawks on Saturday by the Heat meant that the Pacers have a chance to control their own destiny for the No.1 seed if they won. The Pacers went up by 11 in the fourth quarter, but OKC stormed back behind big shots from Russell Westbrook and Kevin Durant.
With OKC down three with a chance to tie, though, their veteran leader David West made one of the biggest plays of the season, blocking Kevin Durant on the game-tying attempt.
Just cold blooded.
That set up this monster shot from Lance Stephenson. A total dagger.
Durant would make another unbeliveable three to cut the lead later, but couldn't finish the job as the Pacers made the free throws to get the win. Their magic number is one.
