Putting money on Kevin Garnett picking up a technical foul in the playoffs against a smaller player is like putting money on the sun rising tomorrow. You're going to win the bet but it's never going to be good enough odds to really net you a return. The Brooklyn Nets' big man took care of that early in the first game when he played physically against Kyle Lowry after the whistle in the second quarter.
Lowry drove to the basket and was fouled on the perimeter, except he kept going toward the hoop just to make a basket. Garnett wasn't going to have that and he kept the Toronto Raptors' point guard from getting a shot off. The officials came in right away and hit KG with the tech for the extracurricular physical play.
The playoffs have officially begun.
