VIDEO: LeBron James stares down Michael Jordan on breakaway dunk?

By Royce Young | NBA writer

More postseason coverage: Playoff schedule, results | Latest news, notes

LeBron James has never been able to play against Michael Jordan. But he has played against the team he owns. And maybe sent a message in Game 4 against the Bobcats.

On a breakaway dunk, LeBron clearly shot a glance toward the Bobcats' bench, where one Michael Jeffrey Jordan was seat nearby. Was he staring him down? Kind of hard to think otherwise.

Which is just amazingly cool. LeBron has always been consistent that Jordan is his basketball hero, the player he's always looked up to. But LeBron has remained in the long shadow of MJ for some time, and is trying to carve out his own place in NBA history.

But this was a moment where the two sort of collided in a weird way.
