Kendrick Perkins thought he had a layup. Just a simple layup. All he had to do was put the ball softly off the glass. He didn't even think he had to jump, judging by the amount of air he got on the attempt.
Blake Griffin had other ideas, and a much higher vertical leap. The Los Angeles Clippers forward came out of nowhere -- from Perkins' perspective, at least -- to block the Oklahoma City Thunder center's shot like he was a little kid. It was kind of sad, really. Let's all make a sad face.
